Hamas’s military wing says its fighters are fully prepared to catch Israeli forces off guard in each corner of the beleaguered Gaza Strip.
“We have prepared thousands of brave fighters who are waiting for you in each corner of the street and will welcome you with fire and iron,” Abu Obeida, the spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of Hamas- said in a televised speech on the movement’s Al-Aqsa TV station on Monday.
Abu Obeida warned that more rockets would hit Israeli towns, should Tel Aviv continue the ongoing offensive against the strip.
He said the movement has enough rockets to continue the attacks on Israel, adding that “There are strategic places that can be targeted by our rockets.”
